Our client is looking for Tech Lead Software Engineer to join their dynamic and inclusive workplace in Galway (hybrid working policy). This role is for a new Application Security Platform team.
You will be providing technical and team leadership; leading, guiding, and mentoring Senior Developers as well as more junior team members; translating business requirements with the Product Owner to deliver optimised customer journeys using the latest industry and company front-end standards.
We have both contract and permanent roles (back end, full stack and front end focused)!
Skills:
Proficient in Java 17, Spring, Sprint Reactive, SpringBoot, RESTful services
Angular 12+ or React front-end experience desirable but willing to learn would be important
Expertise with Test Automation Tools and Frameworks e.g. Karate, Cypress, Mockito
Exposure to messaging technology such as Kafka would be nice
Kubernetes/EKS/AWS deployment and operations management exposure a plus
Oracle, JPA, and GraphQL experience would be great
Bachelor's or post-primary degree in a Technology-related subject area.
Commercial experience with front-end development.
Experience in leading teams in technology and full stack solutions.
Passion for designing and delivering the best end user journeys.
Expertise in delivering front-end solutions and mid-tier services.
