As a Principal Front End Developer, the expertise and skills you'll bring are crucial to our client's success.

This role will be based in Galway and client operates hybrid working policy and considers candidates within commutable distance.

We have both contract and permanent roles open.

Here's what we're looking for:

Extensive software development experience
Technical Leadership experience
Strong knowledge of HTTP based APIs, Networking, and how the internet works
Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, HTML & Browser Developer tools
Understanding of Async code (Promises, Callbacks, Event Loops)
Experience with JS Tooling (ESLint, Webpack, Grunt, Gulp)
Familiarity with JS MV* frameworks (Angular, React, Vue or similar)
Comfortable with Visual Design & Rapid Prototyping
Expertise in one IDE of choice (e.g., VS Code, WebStorm)
Familiarity with Node.js frameworks NPM, Express
Knowledge of Automation Tools/Frameworks (Moka, Jasmine, Selenium, Protractor)
Advanced Git skills
Understanding of API Design & Development, Microservices Architecture
Experience with DevOps, Automated Testing, and Continuous Delivery
