Position: Principal Cloud Engineer
Location: Galway - hybrid working policy

This role will be best suited for someone with strong background in application development, hands on experience leveraging AWS cloud technologies as part of their application ecosystem, with some exposure to, or working knowledge of, common DevOps practices and tools. As a principal level role, strong leadership and communication skills are required to independently be able to work across a broad area.
Skills:
* Extensive experience with with AWS and cloud services and technologies.
* Hands-on experience designing and building scalable and resilient applications in the cloud.
* An advocate for delivering software using engineering best practices and principles.
* Experience writing application code in any of following: TypeScript, Java, Python or other language (the main requirement is to work with applications development rather than technology)
* Experience in scripting languages such as Groovy and/or Bash
* Familiarity with, and willingness to learn more about, CI/CD pipelines, supporting infrastructure, system and security configurations, Pipelines as Code, and Infrastructure as Code
* Passion for new technologies and cloud trends.
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* Ability to work in a team and on own initiative
* Excellent communication skills
