Role Overview:

As a Tax Manager, you will be a key part of the Employment Tax team, supporting both the EMEA and LATAM regions. You will ensure that all employee benefits are processed through payroll accurately and comply with tax obligations, collaborating closely with teams across payroll, compensation, and benefits. This role offers a dynamic work environment where each week presents different challenges, particularly during high-volume payroll processing weeks. The position requires a highly collaborative individual with strong experience in tax management and a demonstrated ability to work effectively across functions.


Main Responsibilities:

*Collaborate with the EMEA tax team and the wider international finance team to manage tax controversy across EMEA and LATAM regions.
*Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) by gathering data from various finance and business sources.
*Work with external advisors to drive tax controversy strategies and ensure compliance.
*Coordinate with the wider tax team on tax controversy matters and ensure smooth integration with the benefits team.
*Provide support on tax-related accounting implications and assist with operational reviews to ensure adherence to corporate goals.
*Assist in managing international tax compliance initiatives, including transfer pricing documentation, withholding tax, tax controls, and activity reviews.
*Support key stakeholders with benefits returns, payroll inputs, and tax audits.
*Attend regular team and cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment across departments.


Required Qualifications/Experience:

*Minimum of 8 years of experience in tax management, with at least 3+ years in a senior or managerial role.
*Bachelor's degree or equivalent in tax, law, or accounting; an advanced degree or professional qualification is preferred.
*Proven international tax experience within the Big 4, a law firm, or the tech industry, with a focus on the EMEA region.
*Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to collaborate effectively across functions (XFN collaboration).
*Strong analytical, documentation, and project management skills.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex tax issues to cross-functional teams.
*Expertise in Excel and tax-related software tools.
*Highly organized, independent, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience:

*Transfer Pricing and/or Corporate Tax experience.
*Experience working in payroll or with employee benefits taxation.
*Familiarity with tax audits and payroll tax assessments.
