Our client, a leading organisation in Dublin 2, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise strategy supported documents. With a 12-month contract, you'll collaborate with their technical team, conduct research, and analyse public information to produce reports, presentations, and other technical documentation.
This role will be within CTO office reporting to their President.
Primary purpose of the role is to advise on emerging technologies and strategy planning around it. This is not a hands on technical role.
We are looking for someone who has strong technical background, experienced in Tech Strategy planning and experienced with a variety of domains such as Cloud, AI, Semiconductors, Chips, Advertising Recommendations, Data Systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the technical team, providing valuable insights based on publicly available information.
* Participating in Tech Strategy planning.
* Keeping up to speed and researching emerging technologies.
* Prepare reports, presentations, and technical summaries through technical writing and research.
* Monitor and report on resource mapping trends in Ireland and Europe.
* Analyse and summarise research papers and articles, supporting technical experts.
* Ensure timely progress and documentation support for various technical projects.
* Identify new business directions, analyse potential opportunities, and offer technical information and solutions.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and provide forward-looking guidance and support.
Qualifications:
* Experience with Strategy planning.
* Experience in a similar advisory role within emerging tech.
* Experience working with C level stakeholders.
* Technical background and experienced working withing domains such as Cloud, AI, Semiconductors, Chips, Advertising Recommendations, Data Systems.
* Strong writing skills, able to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
* Familiarity with key technology areas and industry dynamics, particularly regarding resources in Ireland and Europe.
* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to organise and synthesise technical information.
* Experience in technical planning, supporting new business directions with relevant insights and solutions.
* Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, working effectively within cross-functional teams.
