Our client, a dynamic and innovative organisation in Galway, is seeking experienced Senior Automation QA Test Engineers to join their team on a 12-month contract basis. With a hybrid working policy, this opportunity provides a great work-life balance. This client operates hybrid working policy and candidates would be required to go to their Galway office.

As a Senior Automation QA Test Engineer, you will get the chance to work with cutting-edge technologies.

For this role the client is looking for API testing with automation (key skills Java, Rest Assured or Karate)

About the role:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve customer-facing software solutions.
- Collaborate with the team to implement test automation frameworks and best practises.
- Contribute to the QA automation strategy for our applications and ensure adherence to QA best practises.
- Work within an Agile Scrum environment, participating in sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives.
- Utilise your experience with continuous integration practises and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins.

Skills:

Extensive experience with Java, Rest Assured or Karate
Familiarity with continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools.
Previous exposure to Agile Scrum methodologies is highly desired.
