Our client is on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Senior Platform Engineer to join their dynamic agile scrum team in Galway on permanent basis. About the Role:
As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our Contact Centre platform, which serves over 20 million clients and processes more than 35 million customer interactions annually, operating 24/7. We are committed to continual improvement, and we seek individuals who are curious, innovative, and dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences for our users.

Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with a team to deliver high-quality software and improve the platform's operational capabilities.
* Develop clean, testable code and serve as a mentor for less experienced engineers.
* Engage in continuous learning and improvement, always seeking ways to enhance team productivity.
* Participate in production incidents and contribute to operational stability practises.

Skills:
* Extensive Experience: in the voice/telephony area, with a strong understanding of enterprise-scale platform architecture.
* Technical Skills: Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Linux OS management, VoIP, SIP, and various data communication protocols (HTTP, SIP, TLS/SSL, TCP/IP).
* Agile Mindset: Proficient in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and operational automation.
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly.
* Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot issues, perform quality assurance, and support user acceptance testing.
