Are you a skilled and versatile Senior DevOps Cloud Engineer ready to take on an exciting contract opportunity? Our client is seeking an exceptional candidate to join their team and support the release and operational needs of their Cybersecurity IAM modernisation programme. If you are passionate about DevOps, cloud engineering, and automation, this role is perfect for you!

Our client, a leading organisation in their field, is dedicated to building and supporting releases for their Azure cloud-native Platforms. As part of the Identity and Access Management (IAM) platform team, you will work closely with Product Leads and other engineering teams to deliver scalable, stable, and secure solutions. Our client believes in simplifying complex problems through automation and observability best practises, and you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of release management.

This is 11 months contract in Dublin (hybrid working).

Key Responsibilities:
- Azure VM & Containerized Application Support:
* Manage and support Azure VMs using Terraform.
* Deploy and maintain containerized applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
* Ensure adherence to security best practises in all deployments and configurations.

- Pipeline Execution & Maintenance:
* Design, execute, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for IAM systems.
* Collaborate with DevOps teams to enhance pipeline efficiency and reliability.

- Release & Change Management:
* Participate in coordinating release cycles with engineering tech leads.
* Ensure compliance with change management practises and readiness activities.
* Maintain documentation for release and change management processes.

- Operational Support & Ticket Resolution:
* Provide operational support and resolve tickets related to IAM issues.
* Identify and troubleshoot failing jobs, working with engineering teams to implement solutions.

- Platform Performance & Improvement:
* Monitor and ensure platform performance, identifying areas for improvement.
* Implement strategies to optimise performance and reliability of IAM systems.
* Expand monitoring automation coverage and reduce alert notification noise.

Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent technology discipline.
* Extensive enterprise IT development experience.
* Competence in Azure cloud services.
* Proficiency in release and change management practises.
* Experience with operational support and incident resolution, including external vendors.
* CICD pipeline automation knowledge, including familiarity with tools such as Github, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
* Expertise in managing Azure VMs and containerized applications using Terraform and AKS.
