This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated Senior Data Cloud Engineer to join Cloud and Platform Engineering, Data Movement platform.
Position: Senior Cloud Data Engineer
Location: Dublin - Hybrid working
Skills:
* Strong Unix/Linux knowledge and experience in configuring and deploying applications in a public cloud like Azure/AWS.
* Very strong understanding and practical experience with implementing Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform
* Expertise and experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment tools such as GitHub, Artifactory and Jenkins.
* Think innovatively and have the ability to automate various administrative tasks in the admin space using the Python, Groovy, Jenkins, Java , and/or shell scripting skills.
* Experience with data replication tools STRIIM , Golden Gate, HVR or similar replication technologies
* Experience with configuring alerts and monitors to create a highly available platform
* Experience in designing, creating and deploying automated processes to install, upgrade and rehydrate resources in public cloud and on-premise environment..
* Excellent analytical skills to triage and resolve production issues and outages
* Experience with on-call support, resolving incidents and release management practices.
* Strong communication and influencing skills
