Principal / Senior Software Engineer in Test role!

Position: Brand New role - permanent in Galway - hybrid working policy .
Ideal candidate will have a proven knowledge of UI and API testing and routing, be detail oriented and will work closely with the development team. You will be applying your strong software development and test skills to develop test automation to improve software delivery. You will be working with a complex solution. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve customer-facing software solutions. You will also be enabling your team in adopting test automation frameworks and best practices to ensure we are building the right product the right way.
Skills:
* Extensive Experience with UI and API testing either manual or automation
* Web Services testing experience.
* Experience with agile methodology and tool sets (JIRA).
* Capability to adhere to deliverables in the sprint schedule.
* Experience with test automation tools, Empirix Hammer/CallMaster is a plus and highly desired.
* Demonstrated ability to review and analyze client-specific system requirements and scope of services.
* Ability to analyze functional and technical system designs for testability.
* Proficiency at mining and manipulating test data in support of test cases for multiple and complex projects.
* Strong technical skills such as SQL, XML/VXML, HTML, JavaScript, Java, Visual Basic.
* Experience working in contact centre testing environment and used similar routing technology to Genesys Composer and Amazon connect.
* Ability to read and enhance scripts/code.
* Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment strongly desired;
