As the Principal Engineer, you will provide expert technical support and advice to users across multiple sites, platforms, and technologies (mainly Microsoft). You will play a pivotal role in mentoring and supporting the development of engineers within the team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service to customers. Collaboration will be key as you work closely with our clients, addressing technical issues, and managing medium to large-scale deployments/projects. you will also be looking after managing set-up activities for medium to large-scale deployments/projects.
To excel in this role, you will need:
A relevant third-level degree or an equivalent.
Extensive industry experience.
A strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint, Teams, and Microsoft 365 Security and Compliance.
Technical expertise in various areas, including Microsoft 365, Virtualization (Hyper V & VMware), Storage Area Networks (SANs), Disaster Recovery, AWS, Google Cloud, MS Windows Server, MS Exchange, Networking, Security, and Backup setups.
A full clean driver's licence.
