Java Developer Contract 12 Months Dublin. My client a leading global firm is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Java Developer to join their group on a contract basis for 12 months with view for a further 12 months.

You will work with a team of talented engineers to develop high performance, high volume Java applications. You will deliver solutions by providing direct development of software solutions. You will work closely with technical leads, business & system analysts to define features and user stories. You will assist with production support issues by acting as point-of-contact and subject matter expert in resolving incidents and problem tickets. You will also manage medium-sized project/initiatives as an individual contributor with advanced knowledge within discipline, leading a segment of several initiatives or a larger initiative, or may formally supervise a small team, and assigns day-to-day work.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate good strong core Java and Spring knowledge , you will typically have 5 years of commercial experience in similar role. You will have good knowledge of software development processes including SAFe/Agile processes. You will also have Web Services exposure (REST/SOAP) It would also be expected that you have A wide breadth and depth of technical experience including Tomcat, shell scripting, JSON, multi-threading, Maven, Linux, SQL, Pivotal, Kafka and Spring framework tech stack.
