Join an industry-leading Irish medical and surgical services organisation as an Electronic Communications Sales Representative. With a strong focus on delivering high-quality products and promoting patient care, our client is dedicated to introducing innovative IT-based solutions to the market.
This is an exciting time to join the team, as the company has recently secured a significant new tender, solidifying its position in the industry. You'll be part of a small, dynamic team with opportunities for progression.
About the Role
Your primary focus will be selling advanced IP, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth network products/devices, along with associated maintenance and service contracts. With a clear emphasis on face-to-face, field-based sales, you'll engage with decision-makers in hospitals across all of Ireland, including Biomedical Engineers, Heads of Electronics, IT Consultants and Heads of Procurement.
Unlike roles that require juggling multiple responsibilities, your role is to sell. A strong support network ensures you stay focused on what you do best. You'll have the backing of a skilled field service team, including engineers and electricians, as well as an office-based sales and admin team to handle quotations and paperwork. A team of clinical training nurses will also be available to support post-sale client engagement.
What You'll Need
Sales or commercial experience is essential - we are looking for someone with a proven track record of driving revenue and closing deals.
Technical knowledge of networks (IP, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth) is highly desirable.
A background in IT, electronics, or engineering is preferred but not essential.
Strong communication skills and the ability to engage key decision-makers within the hospitals.
A passion for learning and developing your sales career.
Energetic and self-motivated with a customer-first approach.
Location
The role covers all of Ireland, so you'll need to be comfortable with nationwide travel. While candidates from across Ireland are welcome to apply, the ideal candidate will be based in the Dublin or Midlands area for ease of access to key locations.
Training & Support
Comprehensive training will be provided in-house, through shadowing experienced colleagues, and directly from the manufacturers. You'll be supported every step of the way by experienced engineers, electricians, office-based admin, and a dedicated clinical training team. This structured support allows you to focus on driving sales.
