We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join a diversified engineering business, specialising in bulk materials handling systems and high-quality steel fabrication.! As an Electrical Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in project development and implementation process, working closely with the Project Manager and a multidisciplinary team of engineers and industry experts to deliver projects.

Responsibilities:
* Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical projects, taking into account labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
* Be involved in the full tender process from start to end, taking responsibility for the preparation, submission, and management of all electrical tenders.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure accurate and competitive bids.
* Review and assess tender documents, contracts, and specifications, contributing to tender risk and opportunity registers.
* Track and manage changes in project scope and adjust estimates accordingly.
* Maintain and update estimating software and databases.
* Attend meetings internally and externally when required.

Requirements:
* Degree level qualification or equivalent in a relevant Engineering discipline.
* 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, with a good understanding of industry best practises and technologies.
* Excellent problem-solving and numerical skills.
* Strong attention to detail, planning, and organisation skills.
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
* A strong team player who is also able to work independently.
