Responsibilities:
* Designing electrical control systems and instrumentation for power generation and energy systems.
* Developing detailed schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.
* Producing drawings, wiring schematics, lists, and data sheets using AutoCAD and EPLAN.
* Developing PLC and SCADA software for control and monitoring systems.
* Overseeing the installation of control systems and instrumentation equipment.
* Collaborating with technicians and contractors to ensure proper implementation.
* Undertaking Factory and Site Acceptance Testing.
* Commissioning of control systems in the field.
Qualifications:
* Level 8 Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
* 2+ years of experience in electrical or automation engineering.
- PLC Programming Experience: Siemens/ Allen-Bradley/ Schneider.
- HMI / SCADA Experience: Siemens / Rockwell/ AVEVA / Schneider.
* Knowledge of process instrumentation and wiring.
* Experience with control networks and communications systems (Profibus, Modbus, DeviceNet).
* Knowledge and experience in the Energy sector would be advantageous but not essential.
